Many class talents, spells, and abilities have been overhauled, added, or removed.
All spell and ability tooltips will now display damage averages rather than minimum and maximum damage potential. This feature is on by default but can be changed via the Display settings under User Interface options.
The character levels at which classes gain new spells and abilities have changed.
Many item and class stats have been changed or removed.
Mastery rating has been added as a new stat which provides unique benefits for characters based on class and talent specialization. Mastery rating does not currently exist on items in the game, however, Reforging can be used to add Mastery rating as a secondary stat to existing items.
Spells and abilities no longer have multiple ranks and now scale with character level.
Talent trees have been altered. All player talent specializations have been reset, allowing for free re-specialization.
Each specialization has been reduced to a 31-point talent tree.
Players will now get a total of 41 talent points to spend.
Players will be asked to choose a specialization at level 10. Doing so will result in the unlocking of a spell or ability unique to that specialization, as well as one or more passive bonuses.
Once a talent specialization has been chosen, players may only place points in the primary tree until at least 31 points have been spent there.
A dedicated tanking tree (Blood) has been implemented.
The effects of Blood Presence and Frost Presence have been exchanged.
The way in which runes recharge has changed.
Blood
Blood Shield (Mastery) - Instant. Each time you heal yourself via Death Stike, you gain 50% of the amount healed as a damage absorption shield. buy wow gold, g, leveling , levelsEach point of Mastery increases the shield by an additional 6.25%. / Each time you heal yourself via Death Stike, you gain 0% of the amount healed as a damage absorption shield. Blood Rites - 3 min cooldown. Whenever you hit with Death Strike or Obliterate, the Frost and Unholy Runes will become Death Runes when they activate. Death Runes count as a Blood, Frost or Unholy Rune
Heart Strike - 5 yard range, Instant. Instantly strike the target and up to two additional nearby enemies, causing 100% weapon damage plus 819.17 on the primary target, with each additional enemy struck taking 25% less damage than the previous target. Damage dealt to each target is increased by an additional 10% for each of your diseases present.
Vengeance - Each time you take damage, you gain 5% of the damage taken as attack power, up to a maximum of 10% of your health.
Veteran of the Third War - Increases your total Stamina by 9% and your expertise by 6.
Frost
Frozen Heart (Mastery) - Instant. Increases all frost damage done by 16%. Each point of Mastery increases frost damage by an additional 2%. / Increases all frost damage done by 0%. Each point of Mastery increases frost damage by an additional 2%.
Blood of the North - Whenever you hit with Blood Strike or Pestilence, the Blood Rune will become a Death Rune when it activates. Death Runes count as a Blood, Frost or Unholy Rune.
Frost Strike - 40 Runic Power, 5 yard range, Instant. wow gold, cheap wow gold, alliance, hordeInstantly strike the enemy, causing 110% weapon damage plus 305.723 as Frost damage.
Icy Talons - Your melee attack speed is increased by 20%.
Unholy
Blightcaller (Mastery) - Instant. Increases the damage done by your diseases by 32%. Each point of Mastery increases disease damage by an additional 4%. / Increases the damage done by your diseases by 0%. Each point of Mastery increases disease damage by an additional 4%.
Master of Ghouls - Reduces the cooldown on Raise Dead by 60 sec, and the Ghoul summoned by your Raise Dead spell is considered a pet under your control. Unlike normal Death Knight Ghouls, your pet does not have a limited duration.
Reaping - Whenever you hit with Blood Strike, Pestilence, or Festering Strike, the Runes spent will become Death Runes when they activate. Death Runes count as a Blood, Frost or Unholy Rune.
Scourge Strike - 1 Unholy, 5 yard range, Instant. An unholy strike that deals 100% of weapon damage as Physical damage plus 624.5. In addition, for each of your diseases on your target, you deal an additional 12% of the Physical damage done as Shadow damage.
Unholy Might - Dark power courses through your limbs, increasing your Strength by 15%.
